The 3D Motion Designer is responsible for the development, execution and delivery of animated visual designs and motion graphics for broadcast, social media, marketing, sales and on-site media. This person will possess excellent visual design skills and technical prowess and will demonstrate self-motivated strategic problem-solving. The 3D Motion Designer is a team player that can communicate effectively, clearly articulate ideas and possess a commercial understanding and awareness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute original, cutting-edge animated visual designs and motion graphics for broadcast, social media, marketing, sales and on-site media
- Manage & prioritize projects to meet deadlines and budgetary requirements
- Apply conceptual and technical thinking to create industry leading visuals
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners to design 360 immersive video content from concept to completion
- Proactively identify business opportunities, latest trends and technologies
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communications or related field
- 5+ years in-depth knowledge and experience of motion design within all forms of media (video, broadcast, digital, 2D / 3D animation, AR, VR, web, print and various display methods)
- Expert technical knowledge/experience working with C4d & Adobe Creative Suite
- Solid knowledge of Octane and/or Red Shift
- Experience with Unreal engine and other new innovative technologies
- Strong 3D Modeling, texturing, lighting and animation skills
- Experience in fast-paced working environments and managing tight deadlines
- Collaborative, self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Strong sense of editorial timing and direction
- Knowledge of web-based technologies and mobile operating systems and platforms are a plus
- Sports graphics design experience strongly preferred
- Portfolio/examples of completed design and video/animation/3d projects required!
Location
This role is based at our headquarters in Winter Park, FL. Occasional travel will be part of this role. Our employees work a hybrid schedule, typically three days in the office and two remote.
